Cammeray Children’s Centre has a rich and proud history. The service began around thirty-five years ago as an occasional care service. It was started by a group civic minded parents who saw a need for early childhood care and education  in the community. The Centre is still managed by a parent management committee who operate the service as a community-based, not-for-profit organisation.

Originally, the Centre was located on the grounds of the All Saints Church but now, we occupy Kendall Community Centre – a building which itself has a wonderful history of being a place where the community can come together.

We are open four days per week – Tuesdays to Fridays and close over the Christmas holidays.

We wish to show respect and acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and to Elders, both past and present. We acknowledge the present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who reside in this area and the strength, resilience and capacity of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
